Ocean Plastic

April 2016 - July 2017

Tons of plastic debris make its way into our oceans each year. It may be out of sight, but it is not out of our lives. Ocean plastics maim marine life, degrade the waters and shores, and leach toxins into everything they contact. What's worse is as these plastics photo-degrade, they enter the food chain as well. See beautiful and provocative works by local artists visually portraying this situation.
