Green Burials

A green burial returns the body to the earth and does not contaminate the earth. A green burial:
-
Does not prepare the body with chemicals.
-
Does not use a vault.
-
Does not use an impermeable casket.
-
Does not use herbicides or pesticides in the landscaping.
-
Does not mark the grave with headstones other than wooden plaques or natural rocks. GPS coordinates can be used in place of a physical marker.
