Gallerium Preparation

Linda Look and Wade Hughes purchased 216–220 N Front Street on January 4, 2011. They spent the next several years carefully stripping the 10,800 square-foot, three-floor property to its bones. Original wood in floors and walls was refurbished, decaying bricks were repaired, steel beams were realigned, 2,200 pieces of sheetrock were installed, and 66 dumpsters of trash were removed.

The General Contractor

To transform the building to its new purpose, Clark Hipp came on board as architect and general contractor. Two years of inspiration, precision detail, style, and grace accomplished the vision. â€‹Hipp also assisted in the refitting of the building for the two subsequent owners and currently manages the building.

Afterwards

After the closure of EXPO 216, the building was purchased by Robert Rosenburg in 2021. Rosenburg was planning to turn the building into a boutique hotel but sadly passed away before the project was completed.

Before his death, Rosenburg had co-owned The Hive at 505 N Second Street which in 2024 sold the property to Incognito LLC. Wicked Bull Trading Post currently operates in the retail space.
